    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~it came with the 8700g. Are you sure your putting in the BB in the holster the right way (screen facing inside) because when I was new with my bb 8700g I was putting it the wrong way lol. And I scratched up my bb preety good.

    I've had my 8700C for about a month and I use the plastic RIM holster that came with the device. No scratches, even though I insert and remove the device dozens of times a day. It holds the device very securely and the detents have loosened up slightly, making it easier to use. To remove the device, I put my left index finger on the very top of the holster itself, and simply slide the BB out with my other hand. Sounds complicated, but it isn't. Again, not a single scratch. I'm very satisfied with the holster. Hope this helps.

    P.S. - as mentioned above, make sure you insert the BB into the holster screen side in.

    yeah, make sure you put the screen inside, otherwise it doesn't function
