Question Restoring to a New Blackberry 8700g

I have backed up my old Blackblerry and am trying to restore but once the restore is complete I find that some of the e-mails it restores I am then unable to delete and or is some cases cannot view more on the e-mail.

Is there something I can do for this to work correctly?

Re: Restoring to a New Blackberry 8700g

It's very possible that some of your emails were corrupted during the backup process and therefore is causing this problem when you go to restore the data to your BB access is then limited on some of the corrupted data. If this is so there is probably nothing you can do to correct this problem.

    mlittle, Welcome to PinStack.

You might use the Advanced feature in the Backup/Restore and selectively clear the messages Database. Of course you will loose all messages currently on the BB, but it should work after that. If you are on BIS 2.x, I believe that all messages over thirty days that need the More feature truncated if you have to restore them. Not sure about the latter though.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.
