    In this case, I think it might be terrain structures. Are you able to get EDGE in caps outside of the building or at a different location?

    You might want to Scan for Available Networks. In the device Options, click on Network. Set the selection Mode field to Manual. Click Scan for Available Networks. In the networks list, select the network, then press the trackwheel to Select Network.

    Thanks for the help, I didn't realize that without EDGE it would just go to GRPS.. I forgot how slow GRPS was, it doesn't even load (not that I let it complete since I don't have the patience for it..).

    I am a bit confused though.. is it my signal/location, or tmobile right now?

    That is correct, I'm working tonight so I didnt get all the details but I spoke with Katie in T-Mobile Tech and she confimed coast to coast critical issues with EDGE. Should be about 4 hours.... I was freaking out cause I have been fooling around with my device all night, thought I broke something

    Glad TMOs back up. Remember all of you, Networks have problems also and it may take a while to get them back up. And once there back up and running, if it was a large coverage area, but not total, it will probably take a long time to clear the backlog out of the servers.
