    ok...

umm.. i have an 8700c that was using desktop redirector..

i set up an MSN account after going to a lot of trouble to realize all i had to do was log into a website and setting up an account.

but i have the old mailbox from outlook showing up still.. and, i have the 1200 contacts from there showing up.. i want the get rid of the old mailbox, and clear the contacts so i can export "only" 400 contacts back onto it..

Go into your options menu - security options - general settings - clekc the trackwheel and select wipe hand held, agree and you'll have to write blackberry in the text box to got it wipe...

    There you go

    Hope this helps

i don't see "wipe handheld" in the general security settings, or in any of the security settings..

is there a way to just delete all the contacts?

Plug your BB into your PC, Open Desktop Manager, Open Backup/Restore. Click on advanced. On the Device Database side, Select Address Book. Click on Clear

    Hope this helps
