Replacing 8703e Lens - Difficult?
I'm about to order a replacement lens for my Blackberry 8703e (got a sweet deal on eBay, but the silver part is a bit worn looking) - http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-8703e-...zon-p-175.html
in order to pretty it up.
I've checked out how to replace the faceplate, but I haven't seen much on how the process is for replacing just the lens piece. Would I be better off just replacing the whole housing?
I changed my faceplate on my 8703 (the screen cover part). The faceplate is stuck on with adhesive. I just stuck a sharp knife under the edge and it came right off. Stuck the new one on, and it was done in 15 seconds.

Thanks for the tip!
What screwdriver bits are used on it? Might order if I already have them.
To replace the lens, you don't need a screwdriver. It peels off, some people use a blow dryer to heat the glue a bit to make it easier. If you want to remove the case, you need a T6 bit.

I've ordered lenses on Ebay from Chinese sellers, and they actually have arrived quite quickly - usually in about 10 days, and the quality has always been good. Only negative is that they are in the habit of forgetting to leave feedback - -
