Receiving sent email
I'm the new owner of a Blackberry 8703e (Sprint). I've learned so much already from browsing the boards here! I have a couple of beginner questions that hopefully won't be a nuisance. I just can't seem to find the answers anywhere.
First off, when editing my profiles, what are Level 1 Messages?
Secondly, I've added my gmail account as one of my PUSH email accounts (the only one right now). When I send an email from my device, I immediately receive it in my inbox on my phone. It sucessfully sends the email to the address I specify, but i can't figure out why I'm receiving a copy of it as well.
I know this may be some kind of email account setup issue, but wondered if anyone else had ever had the problem.
Thanks for any help!

First question Level 1 messages are messages that are considered Important, and deserve a separate notification. You can set filters in your BIS to set All Messages that match that filter to go to your BB as a level 1 message.
Second question, you will need to login to your BIS account and create a filter to for Sent From "your Gmail Account" and Set the forward to Handheld to No. This is a known problem with Gmail/BIS integration.
Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.
Thanks for the quick help and the warm welcome!

You can also try the gmail app, its pretty handy. I think you can go to Gmail.com/app from your BB browser and dowload. This app allows you to synchronize your gmail account in that whatever you delete on your device will also be deleted form the gmail server. You can add labels too if that's your thing. Just remember if you use Outlook or another mail program on your computer if you have viewed and deleted an email on your handheld your mail program will not pick it up.
Re: Receiving sent email
I understand that I need to create a filter for this, but how?? I logged in to my BIS account and the filters don't provide a Sent Filter... Can someone pls explain this expanded???
