I guess it didn't take me as many tries but I sure prefer this type of theme
as against all icons on the home screen.
But personally, Vodafone Today is my all-time favorite (simplicity) even though
it is unfortunately an inflexible design precisely for that reason.

    BAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    My bad...

Didn't realize it was the 8700

    (Knocking self in head).

It's something with the 4.1 OS...Has to be...It won't allow the 8700 to keep a steady download stream...

Maybe it isn't the OS, but I believe it is and here is why:

I have 4.2 installed on the 8700 and it works PERFECTLY...Just like it does on the pearl...When I had 4.1 installed, I couldn't get it to work no matter WHAT I tried...So, that being said, I am pretty sure its an Operating System issue and not a radio bee issue.

Nothing, unfortunately there has not been any "official release of 4.2 for the 8700" as stated above.

There are some people that have a 4.2 that works on the 8700 but as said a few times in this thread RIM has not officially released one.

I was able to get different versions of 4.2 on my 8703e certain software will update.
But you have to make sure you do not mix the different versions. I looked at the mods and then placed them in different folders. The I did a search for apps to add and I added a few at a time. I used the 8100 from vodaphone

    Re: Radio Bee.......

I just downloaded the Radio Bee. I have the newest os for blackberry 8100 pearl (TMobile). When I try and load the program, I get class java.ioIOException Open tunnel - failure. Anyone have any ideas about this??

    Re: Radio Bee.......

    JeffreyC,
dont know if you figured it our yet. What i did was went to Options>Advanced Options> TCP
For the APN i put wap.voicestream.com (T-mobileUSA) and it got rid of that error.
Or enter the correct settings for your carrier which can be found under the radio bee help pls section
