Problem with calendar appointments on 8700g

I have an 8700g on T-Mobile. For some reason, everytime I get a reminder of a calendar appointment, the device vibrates but doesn't show the appointment on the screen. The LED blinks red to notify me that I have an appointment but it doesn't show the reminder. When I open the calendar, the appointment is there... I tried wiping my handheld and restoring and it did the same thing. I then wiped it a second time and DIDN'T restore, but did sync to my desktop, to load up all my contacts and appointments, and it fixed the issue. Then about a week later it started happening again...

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Thanks!

Have you installed a 3rd party application recently? Or maybe try upgrading the OS. If you are running the latest one, then try reloading it.

I have 3rd party apps on it but none that I've installed recently...

    I'll try reloading the OS...

    Thanks

I had this same thing. RIM had me open desktop manager, erase my calendar off of phone, the sync. It has worked well ever since. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
