    Platform = BIS version?

    Is that true? Alt+Cap+H shows my platform to be 2.0.0.120 on my 8700g with Tmo. I thought Tmo was already on BIS 2.1 though. Can someone clarify? Or do I need to call Tmobile to have them upgrade me?

    I thought that the platform number was just part of the Operating System?

    I dont think the platform has anything to do with BIS version. I started on BIS 1.8 and Im on 2.0 now, and my platform hasnt changed.

    Yeah, I though it was an OS thing too. Maybe it's just a coincidence and I'm going kooky. Does anyone have platform 2.1.xxx?

    Re: Platform = BIS version?

    Ben, I know for a fact that the platform is not related to BIS. I'm still running BIS 1.8 and my platform is 2.0.0.124. So it can't be related.

    I think platform maybe related to the Java Virtual Machine, but I'm not sure, it may be something totally different.

    Ok. The Java makes sense.

    I'm still not sure what BIS I'm on. Tmo is supposed to be on 2.1, right?
