    Question Pinger - Anybody?

Has anyone tried out the Pinger (pinger.com) service spotlighted in this weekend's New York Times? It sounds a lot like a lot-tech version of the OS 4.2 voice-message program, and could be very handy.

Not I. You still have to call to send out a message, seems like it would be a pain.

    Re: Pinger - Anybody?

The benefit I'm seeing from Pinger is two-fold: 1) you can leave a message without the risk of being caught in a long phone call should the recipient answer before it roills over to voicemail; and 2) you can send a voice message to MULTIPLE recipients. You can't to this with ordinary voicemail.

I've been using it for a few days now and am hooked.

Hmm; the jury is still out on this one. I'm not impressed with the website, no 'real' details unless I sign up...
