    PIN Message help

    Hi All,

I wore my clickwheel out a couple of months ago, and got a new 8700. It seems with the new one I can't receive PIN messages. I can send them, but can't receive them. The folks that are sending them to me are getting a 'D' back saying they were delivered....but they are no where to be found. BBmessenger works flawlessly. I can receive and send SMS and BBmessenger messages. I can also get my email from different accounts just fine.

    HELP!

    Thanks

Either that or an IT policy possibly. Where did the new one come from? Refurb from your provider or buy in second hand from someone?

Did you check the firewall? It could be blocking pin messages. Goto 'options - security options - firewall' if it's checked off, then uncheck it and then you should be good to go.

Explorer125 is correct - your contacts need your new PIN. Every BB has its own unique number.

I agree with explorer 125 and Mark Stone. You probably have a new PIN when you received your new BB device.
