I was wondering about Phone as Modem (PAM) with Sprint BB 8703e. I have an unlimited data plan. Does it includes with an unlimited data plan or charges for the data usages if hooking up with BB to laptop or PC?

Yes! One of the few benefits of Sprint! HA HA. If you are paying for the data plan, you can use it as a modem for no extra cost.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~yes it works pretty good . But you don't want to use the sprint connection manager!instead set up a new dial up connection and use#777 as the number it connects way faster and every time unlike sprints way, also if you enable auto reconect windows will keep the connection up and running all the time provided that the desk top manager is open and running(it has the rim virtual port need) .also you can set up internet connection sharing and run a small network with it as I have had four pc's sharing and if the connection is down you can control it from any pc on the network :-)
So no thanks to sprint I have a pretty reliable connection but the connection manager they have takes several minutes and won't connect the first time ect ect so take a moment and get the most out of mobile broadband that is included
    With the berry data plan
Ps don't bother with sprint support as they don't know any way to do this without scm software.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I have had better luck with the Sprint Connect Manager. When I used the dial up technique my phone would disconnect often. Try both and see what works best for you.

I use the Sprint connection manager, and other than it taking a few minutes to connect (typically the third try works) it's a rock solid connection. Really a great feature that is totally undersold by Sprint.
