Why is personal mail so delayed compared to blackberry.net mail?

I have a 8700c and im set up for the unlimited enterprise and personal mail, unlimited data, mail and 1000 TM's a month.

When i send an email to my mycingular.blackberry.net address i get it in like 20 secs. When i send to my personal email address which is set up on my bb as well, it takes forever for the email to get to me and sometimes it doesnt at all. any ideas?

I don't think the BB is to blame, ask your personal email tech support.

I don't have that problem with my personal emails. Who are you using?

It all depends, for example, hotmail takes quite a while to be "pulled" from their servers while gmail is preety quick.
Your blackberry.net address will usually if not always be quicker since it's the address linked you your blackberry itself. What I'm trying to say is that web client or bis pulls every so often from other providers servers and then "pushes" it to your blackberry (anywhere from seconds to 15 minutes) while the blackberry.net address is the direct address to yo9ur blackberry itself so no need to "pull", every message that its send to that address is automaticaly "pushed" to your blackberry almost instantly.
    Makes sense?

Try email forwarding (from your regular email address) to blackberry address. You can do that for Gmail from OPTIONS and most other emails too.
This way you can enjoy push email on blackberry BIS package.

Because POP accounts have to be polled. BIS will poll up to every 15 minutes. It sounds like you have some other issues though as plenty of other people have integrated POP accounts without the delivery issues you're experiencing.

Here's something that might be the root of your problem:
If your mail client on your PC at home isn't set to leave email on the server then there's no way that BIS can get to that mail. Check your email client settings on your PC.

I have been using Yahoo and it is relatively good. Haven't tried any other pop providers.
