I've loaded Opera Mini to my 8700g. It seems pretty good but I'm not sure it's better than the default. Is the primary advantage suppose to be speed? Navagability has some plusses and minuses and the data entry is kind of cumbersome.

one big advantage with opera mini is because you can access some sites (like bank sites) from the regular bb browser
DO OR DO NOT THERE IS NO TRY

Thumbs down Re: Opera on 8700g (tmobile)

    8700g tmobile.

I have downloaded Opera, but have not been able to establish a connection.
As listed above I have set APN to "wap.voicestream.com"
    I have rebooted my 8700g
I have removed and reinstalled the battery

    I always recieve this error:
"you do not have a working connection. Please visit (not a stack 2 cannot copy URL) with your desktop browser for instructions.(error:3.0.10:80/)."

The default browser works fine, as well as all my other apps.

    Any Ideas?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~opera mini seems to work slower than the default browser to me. Using 8700g

    UPDATE

I sent an email to T-mobile Support outlining my problem. I have not heard back from them, however....30min later I am able to connect w/o a problem. How interesting is that?
