hey guys, new user here. just got me 8700g yesterday and i've been having a problem getting onto YIM.

everytime i log on, i get a weird message with a bunch of numbers and letters saying "successful" and then another one just like it immediately after saying "forced log out"

    am i doing something wrong?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ You should try deleting the app and then reinstalling it. Hope that helps.

Also try a battery pull reset afterwards (take out battery with BB on, then wait at least 30 seconds before replacing the battery).

Good luck and Welcome to the Stacks.

    thanks for the suggestions -

    1. is deleting/re-installing the application a difficult process? is it something you could tell me how to do here in a few sentences?

    2. as far as the battery reset described - will i lose any info by doing this?

To delete, just go to Options/Advanced/Applications/scroll to the app/Click/Select Delete. The reinstall it.

The battery pull reset is just a reboot. You won't lose any data.

    Good luck.
