    NEW BB owner and have email problem

    Hi there I am a new but have been looking around for quite some time now. I am having a problem with my email set up. I have a 8700g on tmobile. When I try to set up my email by using the icon on the screen "email set up" it sends me to my time zone, then I am getting an error message saying "We apologize, there was an error trying to access the service. Please click here to try again. When I go to click here it sends me to t-zone. I called tmobile and they said they think there is a problem with there service and it should be resolved soon. It has been 3 days now. My browser works greas as does IM and text.

    I have tried taking battery out and everything.

    I am guessing you are trying to get to your tmo email account. You should be able to access it via regular PC, going into my tmoble.

    Hello concord, welcome to pinstack. Like Mel said go on your pc into tzones to set up your email. See if that works.

    I am trying to set up a yahoo account, hotmail, and two work email accounts. I get the same error message when I am at tmobils website and I try to set it up from there.

    You should be able to set the email up from your PC also. You might want to try that. To find you BIS set up page URL, check Hayden's post in the Guides Section, WebClient Setup. It's old and WebClient is now called BIS but it should help

    When I am on tmobils site and click on set up BB email I get this error "We apologize, there was an error trying to access the service" click here to try again. It is the same when I try to do it on my 8700

    I just checked mine via my tmobile.... I was able to get to mine no problem. It is not an issue with the website or service. Maybe tmo doesn't have you set up on a blackberry BIS plan.

    Try using this URL. It gets a redirect to the a TMO page for blackberry set up, but when I use the equivalent for Cingular, it takes me to the correct login for My BIS Setup page. The redirection, may be the same page you are already going to though. If so I would suggest that there really is a problem with TMOs website.

    Got it! Tmobile had my pin# going to someone elses phone #. When I try and add a hot mail account it wont let me, is there a way around this?
