yeah i had to sign up for 2yr contract. i don't mind because i used to have cingular and i really liked them. only reason i went to verizon (which i hated) was because my gf at the time had it, so we had in-calling.

yeah it's brand new. i've never bought an used cell phone and don't plan on it

Enjoy your new addition! :-) I have not heard of any Yahoo mail problems today. However, that being said, you may want to try it again a little later on.

    Hi,

I got my Yahoo account working fine. You must ensure you enable POP3 first on your Yahoo account.

My yahoo is .com. I tried to turn the Pop3 on, but don't think it worked. Currently having emails forwarded to bb till I figure it out...

Thumbs up Re: New BB 8700c user in 4 days!!

No, don't turn pop3 on. If you do, you have to pay Yahoo (unless you already do).

I went to T-Mobile, and setup my Yahoo account (.com) and it's working fine, i.e. I get it on my 8700g every 10 minutes, or so. Albeit, I can't use it for pop3 in Outlook or Outlook Express, but, who cares... LOL

So I have to go to a cingular store for the yahoo email to work?

No I left Pop3 off...it looked like it would cost $

Btw I'm 10 ft away from pc, but love using the bb instead

    Yak-on is awesome btw!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~well T-Mobile have a site that you can setup internet email (pop3), am sure Cingular has one too, no? Or better still do it from the device - setup internet email...
