    Question LED constantly red

    Hi

I just got a replacement 8700 (for my 8300 that was stolen ) and the LED shows constantly red. It doesn't flash and I have no new emails or messages.

I've tried turning the LED coverage indicator off (Options > screen/keyboard)
I've also gone through all the profiles and set the repeat notification to none
Battery is at 70% so not low battery either
I also took sim and battery out, left for a minute or so, put them back turned back on and still no difference.

I've got a new one ordered but may take a few days and it's really bugging me already!

    Any ideas???

Yes phone, messaging, instant messaging and browser are functioning fine. It is just the LED as far as I can tell.

Zoe, where did this phone come from? Can you return it? Did the messaging problem get resolved?

    Sound like a defective phone.

Just thought I'd check. New one is on it's way and malfunctioning one on it's way back!

    Thanks,
