    Latest OS+Menue Button

Well i got tired of my red curve and descided to dowgrade back to 8700 (d0nt worry curve is still in my closet). Well i got it second hand and now have a question, unlike all the other threads that have latest os topic, 87000 does not, so i was wondering what is the latest available os for 8700g model.

PS: Sorry for randomness but how do i get the menue on the main screen, to show or hide items? Like in the trackball berries you bress the berry button, waht to do with 8700?

THe latest OS for the 8700g from t-mobile is Handheld Software (v 4.2.1.107)

    Which is at http;//www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade
As for the hiding ICON issue when you highlight an ICON, hold the ALT key and push the wheel in, this gives the move/hide option

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ How can you ever get tired of a red curve, or anyone for instance? Give it to me.

I understand. I LOVED my 8700g. That is still a badass phone. If I had one still, I would use it. Not saying I would give up my 8830.

well, after seeing so many at my work use the track wheel, i got jealous, i do understand that 8700 is inferrior from every point of view, like every single possible. But i do also fear that trackwheel is forever gone and will not comeback on the device, so i want to use one for now as long as the berry is not ancient, i just dont want to missout on the first step in the navigation evolution

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ your right, seems like trackwheel is going to be extinct soon. But I'm hanging on to my 8703e (until my contract ends that is but I'll do esn swap back to this phone)! ;D

Well sadly my mom used the device and took a like to it, they keys are big ad dont require her to use glasses, and i have to go back to curve now, well it was fun, but it will be better for her then the pearl, oh well, all good things come to an end. Well at least i had some fun, but with the work that i do, and entertaiment, camera is a must and the slimer the better. Thanks for all the help and by the way there is .114 available from chinese service provider, but it is extreemly buggy, so dont bother! Thanks for all the help guys! Still with 8700 i feel like a man, curve seems like a toy to me now, but i am a cute blonde so you know gotta fit the profile!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Yeah, the 87xx series makes you feel more grown up like a business man/woman.
