Keyboard lock? Should be the same as the other OS. The unlock is different though. The 4.2 has the 2-step unlock.

did everyone know that if you hold alt+enter in the homescreen it locks the keyboard? Amazing, I thought I read all the shortcuts available... Must have missed this one...

The 2-step unlock is exactly what I want. I use my BB every 15mins on average and I'm tired of having to type in a pwd.

I believe that ALT + Enter is valid only on Sure-Type devices. On qwerty devices, with multiple languages loaded, it will offer to Switch Languages.

    Hope this Help

The first time I did it, it asked if I wanted to switch lanuages. After that one time, it does the keyboard lock whenever I do alt+enter. Not sure why.

I keep getting the lanuage screen when I hit alt+enter. I can't seem to get the keylock to work on my 8700g. Can anyone help me with this?

Alt + Ent defaults to the switch language shortcut. Usually the first time you try it it asks you if you want to disable this shortcut. If you don't see this message you can still turn it off so that the Alt + Ent will work for keypad lock instead.

Go to Options > localisation > set language shortcut to No.
