    .Jar Games w/ 8700

    Hey,

I'm currently trying to add some of the games to my T-Mobile 8700g Blackberry phone. I have come across a .jar extension of a file and .jad file extension when trying to add the games. Now, how do i use the desktop manager to use these files to add to my blackberry? The .alx format seems to work fine but the rest of them I cant figure out how to work, like the Zelda game. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Tyler

jad and jar files are meant to be installed using the BlackBerry Internet Browser directly from the website. A jar file is a standalone install file while Jad files need the associated cod file(s). To install them using Application Loader you will have to convert them to alx/cod pairs. If your 88700 has been updated to 4.2.2 and the jar or jad/cod set is small enough you can load the file(s) to the device memory and use the media app explore feature to browse to the jar or jad file and open it and install it that way.
