    Intstalling themes w/pocketmac on 8700C

I am having some issues installing themes on my 8700C using pocketmac. I am able to instal the Plazmic theme viewer as far as I can tell, and after I intall the .alx theme I pull out my battery for about a min and then turn it back on and no theme shows up. I have tried serveral themes and no luck. I am downloading the .zip file to my Mac and then expanding and installing from there. Anyone have any ideas?

    thanks,
    Dub

Try ota (over the air) downloads, although I never had problems loading themes with pocketmac.....you can get the reader and themes at Mobile41

    Dub, Welcome to PinStack.

Are you loading the correct format themes, 320x 240? Also go to Options/Advanced Options/Applications and find the theme reader and themes, and check the Permissions from the Menu for each of them. The Settings should be Allow, Custom, and Allow respectively.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

Would I find those in the Core applications or the system software area? If I go in to the Core Apps area do I go to the Modules and change the permissions there? Also I did download them from the 8700 theme area here. Thanks for the help.

They would be listed as separate Applications on your BB HandHeld, Options/Advanced Options/Applications. If they were successfully installed you will see each one.

    Hope this Helps

Re: Intstalling themes w/pocketmac on 8700C

Sorry to sound like such a noob but this is what I see: I am going to my applicatons (BlackBerry 4.1 Core Applications) and clicking on it and I get a menu that has View Properties, Modules, Edit Default Prefs, Close. If I go to Modules: I only see 5 total themes.. the 4 preloaded BB ones and the 1 Cingular one. I guess this is why the ones I assumed I installed are not showing up. I will try installing some other themes and seeing if they show up in the apps.

    Thanks again for you help.
