    Internal workings of an 8700

Please forgive me on my insatiable habit of taking things apart to figure the inner workings of anything hardware.
But has anyone taken apart a 8700 to see if you could upgrade the 64mb flash memory?
Havent had the time or dare I say desire to do this yet with my 8700 (as I like it too much). But I wonder if the memory is micro flash..
If so I would love to see if an upgrade is possible.

Let me know if anyone has attempted anything like this.

    Thanks guys/gals..

Learned a lot from you guys!

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~has there been any recent development on this topic? I would love to upgrade the memory if there was some kind of how to out there, or even if some one could tell me what and where the chip to be replace is.

No howto that I know of but there are detailed dissassembly instructions so you can look for yourself. I imagine it would take some careful desoldering and resoldering if would even work at all...

If you want expandable memory your best bet is to get a Pearl or 8800.
