    Interesting note about 8700g build...

So today I exchanged my 8700g of one week for a new one because of a faulty headset jack. The original had the same slighty loose keyboard that has infamously been talked about on this and other forums, but in picking up my new one I noticed a much tighter keyboard, with no looseness or shuffling at all.

I thought it was interesting the difference in the two builds. One week its one way, the next week I pick up this new berry and its build is another way.

Just thought it was interesting or maybe I am just bored.

That is interesting. Looks like they're making changes on the go. A tighter keyboard is very nice.

Actually the tight keyboard was on the earlier version and the looser keyboard is on more recently manufactured models. This has been discussed quite a bit on BBF.

I've had my 87g for awhile now. I also have the lose keyboard. But I've had no problems with this. I at first was worried about dust getting in. But as of yet, this has not happened.
Now as far as the trackwheel, I've never had that problem. And this is my third 87g.
