How in the heck do i ignore a call when the phone is in holster mode??? I have called myself 15 times and tried every combination I can think of. Using an 8703e - just want to silence a ring when I'm unavailable to awnser it without having to take it out of the holster(magnetic) thanks!!

Kublid, try either hitting the mute button on the top right of your 8703 or just roll the scrollwheel. Either of those should work for you.

Rolling the wheel only silences the current ring for me (the next ring on the call will be audible). IIRC mute works to silence the entire call.

Neither of those seem to work on my 8700c. Any other suggestions?

Hitting The Silence Button On The Top Of The Phone Is The Best Way To Silence A Call.

Unforntunately, the "mute" button on the top of the does not silence the ringer on my 8700c. None of the four exposed buttons or the wheel seem to silence a ringing phone. I really do not like having to take it out of the holster to silence it during an important conversation.

I just called my 8700c, when in the holster, a call comes in, scroll wheel, mute button, back/cancel buttons will the mute the ringing for one ring, it will start again in a few seconds.

    That's what I get too.
