good idea n8dbb. i wanna try that too. and supaman u can get the parts oem unbranded from http: // www bbrepairshop . com look under parts and get the diy housing kit for 8700c. its an oem housing complete with clear screen. but its a bit pricey, but cheaper then buying a new 8700

Yeah I was thinking of geeting them from Paul over at bbrepairshop but I am being cheap and wanted to get away with using one of the many dummies I have laying around.

BTW n8 only dummies pay for dummy phones

i have a curve, and i checked out that website. pretty cool with all the pieces. however, they don't sell any DIY kits for the curve.

i just want to remove my tmo insignia. its a pretty retarded looking logo i think. i love having the bb insignia. just want the tmo to..... disappear

    any suggestions?

As far as the internals of the device, it is possible to debrand and change the companys firmware ( i.e changing start up screen, etc..) Search the web if you really want to know how, WARNING!! It IS possible to brick your phone doing this, and i mean complete brick as in killing the flash memory and/or RAM image, so please do not try unless comfortable with the operation, and not afraid to buy a new one worst case.
