The fastest way is to find the pic online, not via pc.

The only way I am aware of to get the pic from the PC to the BB is to use a program. I reccomend Berry Pix 2.0, works great and automaticly resizes pics to fit on the BB. Otherwise post it out on a website like Flickr and point your berry browser to it.

Email it to yourself. Or if photos are something you are really going to be utilitizing on your device, I would highly recommend going ahead and investing in Berry Pix...Well worth it if you are going to be loading photos and whatnot onto your device...Only problem is, atleast I haven't found how, is you can't load them as your background image.

In Berry Pix, preview the picture. Go to the menu with the full size pic up and select save image. This saves it in your normal BB pictures. In the box where you pic the name to save the pic as you can check a box to set the pic as the home screen image. Once you save it in your normal BB pics you can use the menu to set it as the home screen image there as well.

Re: How do you upload a jpg to BlackBerry 8700c

Well, I used the email option and it worked out well. I selected a theme and then went to PICTUREs on the blackberry and set my picture as background default. Worked brilliantly. Now if only I can do something about the icons such as changing their style or not showing them (which would be kind of absurd).

Re: How do you upload a jpg to BlackBerry 8700c

You can hide some of the icons. I know on the 8700 and 7100 it depends on what theme you have how you hide.

    Check this thread out:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ead.php?t=4128

You can not change the way they look without using theme builder, but you have to start from scratch on a new theme. You can not modify the theme you have.

N8DBB, I have had no problem emailing a jpg to myself and then selecting it as the background image. I'm a Mac user with an 8700g on T-mobile...how about you?

    wcyleffe,

I have no problems doing that either...What I was referring to is loading the pics via the USB into berry pix...I had them all loaded in there, but didn't know how to exactly get it to be in my blackberry photo viewer without sending it to myself thru an MMS message then saving it again.
