    There is a little Black piece that extends from the bottom of the sim card push that down and slide the sim card out.

    Also helps if you grab both sides with your fingernails and wiggle.

    Yes, you need to push that little piece of black plastic to release the catch before you can slide out the SIM card. It also helps if you have sticky fingers ... or use a small lump of Blutack to help stick onto the SIM while you slide it out.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~that black part above the middle of the sim seems to be immobile,is that rhe part u guys r referring to?

    I got it from opera mini,bb browser didn't load it properly.so now I got it the screws should be removed.RIM needs some training in making the berries user friendly.

    You should view my attached picture from a PC not from the BB doubt you could see it large enough on the BB... What screws should be removed?

    This is kinda getting outa hand. vivekn, DON'T unscrew anything. Take the rear door off your device, remove the battery by pressing gently in the fingernail shaped aperture at the top right of the battery.Run your left index finger down the left hand side of your SIM til it reaches the small black plastic bar. Depress the bar and simultaneously use light pressure with your right index finger to slide the SIM card out.
