    Go to Inbox

I am on a BES with exchange. Is there a way for me to view my INBOX quickly? Right now what I need to do is open messages, then click view folder, then browse to inbox and select it. Can I make a shortcut that goes straight to that?

On a similar note, it would be cool to be able to "compose email" straight form the home screen.

I cant recall a way to go directly to that inbox, other than what you do already.

To compose an email I downloaded an application called Quick Compose, found here, and when you click on the application it jumps to compose an email. Let us know what you think.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~QuickCompose didn't work properly on my 8703e. It would only compose an SMS message. I was told it had that trouble on some newer models An email to the developer went unanswered.

I have quick compose on my 8703e and it works the same it did on my 7100i. Delete it and try again.

But when you open the Messages app, this IS your Outlook inbox.

I don't understand what you are asking for? A filtered view of only your BES messages?

That really depends on how you have your forwarding filters set up. For me, Messages contains my Inbox plus another folder. By default, it should be just the inbox.

    Re: Go to Inbox

The initial list you get when you open the Message App contains all messages on your BB. Depending on your setting and your theme, some are just hidden and can be viewed by opening the appropriate "folder" or selecting the appropriate filter. By the way, Filters with short cut keys are a wonderful thing.

If you press H (toggles hidden messages) in the list you should see all messages that are on your BB. Try it, you'll be supprised at what is there.

    Hope this helps

When I go to "messages" it contains my BES emails, my BIS emails, SMS messages, etc. I want a way to see ONLY my BES Exchange Inbox, without all the clicking.

    Re: Go to Inbox

    samag,

Set up a filter for Service = Desktop or BES which ever is the option and Type = email. Give it a title and add a short cut key. Make sure you save it.

Then when you go into the message app, press ALT+ the shortcut key and you will have your filtered list.

That's the best you're going to do, until RIM decides to add this feature, if possible.
