I just saw an 8700c and when I clicked the settings icon it appeared to open what would be called a folder in windows. Can we do this on the 8700g do I need a special app or is it unique to Cingular? Any ideas.

I think it might be tied into what theme is loaded on the BlackBerry. I don't think there is a lot of different between a Cingular 8700 and a Tmo 8700.

What you saw is a feature of the default Cingular Theme. There is one for the Settings and another for Applications. You can not control what is put in either of the "Folder" icons.

If you are interested, there is a procedure to unlock all the Vendor Theme posted in the Themes and Images Forum.

    Hope this Helps
