    I'm using an 8700g and having trouble with a pop 3 email. I have 2 email accounts and both are receiving service books and showing that I will receive emails in 20 min. message however, only 1 of my 2 emails are actually receiveing the emails.

    I reset the email that is not forwarding the emails to my handset and resent service books. They were received and agian I have sent several test messages to this email and it never comes in on my handheld BB.

    Help

    I just noticed that the email account not sending to the handset is an IMAP and not a pop3 for whaterever that is worth.

    I guess its really no different then the account that is working...its through Network Soulutions.

    Is that email server behind a firewall? or is access limited to the Company Intranet access only?

    The following message to <ghenderson@sunpacmanufaturing.com> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.1.2 - Bad destination host 'DNS Hard Error looking up sunpacmanufaturing.com (MX): NXDomain'

    No firewall and this email was working for a short while

    Looks like it might be an error in the transmission or the actual spelling of the account name. Looks to me like there is a 'c' missing in manufacturing when it was sent.

    Try deleting the account, then adding it agian in your BIS.

    Based on my experience this is the best advice above, as suggested by Rcbjr.

    Sometimes for reasons unknown the email account gets corrupted. In my case which was very similiar to the one posted here, I simply deleted my email and set it up again. Problem solved.
