    email forwarding problems

    I just got my bb a couple of days ago and it was working fine. For some reason when I woke up today my bb stopped forwarding my emails from 3 personal email accounts i had set up to my bb device. does anyone know if this is a phone/bb setting or is it account related. if anyone knows can they please let me know. thanks.

    Hi cdiddy,

    First welcome to pinstack Second, make sure you check all your pop settings in your accounts, sometimes websites will freak out and reset things and you just never know. If those are all correct, I suggest resending your service books from your carrier. I don't know if cingular website has that option as Tmo does, but if not you can call customer care and tell them to resend them.

    cdiddy, Welcome to PinStack,

    Sometimes a Cold Reboot (Battery Out, wait 15-30 sec, Battery Back in), will solve problems like this, or go to Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table and open the menu. Then select Register Now.

    See if either of these work.

    One more thing to try, Send a message from your BB address usint your BB to your BB address and see if that comes back to you. It may be a network problem. RIM was doing maintenance on th network earlier today.

    Or you might try and delete the account from your BIS and recreating it. I've read that sometimes that is necessary.

    I'm having the same problems as well. I am with Verizon. 8703e.

    Last forwarded email i received was at 5 am-ish pacific. I no longer receive forwarded email, or even email sent directily to my blackberry.net account.

    I've tried all of the above remedies to no avail. Maybe it's the network...

    Hey All,

    Yeah, I tried it all. I guess my only choice is to wait until tomorrow morning to call cingular. I just feel ripped off since its only been 3 days. Thanks for all your input. If you have any other ideas I am open to try them. Thanks.

    Just got off the phone with Verizon. "It's a known issue. Working to fix it ASAP."
