    Dialing tones

When dialing a number on the blackberry 8703e, the tones on every pressed digit are quite loud and can disturb someone when calling at night. Can these tones be turned off? Most cellphones allow for this..
    thank you

well that's the tone which you hear one very key you press on the blackberry. Turn that off and then dial somebody and you'll see what I'm referring to

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~sam007 you are right. I always keep my keytones off but when I manually dial a # they are quite loud. Maybe I have over a thousand entries in my phonebook so I never need to dial another #. Then again this is probably an extreme workaround...

Sam, unfortunately, there's no way to turn those off. It is quite annoying, I know.
