copying Browser Bookmarks to new 8700c

Received new 8700c, trying to use Desktop Manager backup/restore to restore browser bookmarks to my new 8700c (old BB was a 7210). I can see my browser bookmarks, but the transfer arrow is ghosted out to send them to the handheld?

did you backup the 7210 to pc and the using advanced restore select file open and open the backup 7210 file saved on your pc (with the 8700 plugged in). If it's still ghosted then it's becase the version OS on the 8700 (4.1) isn't compatible with the 7120 OS probably 3.7 maybe 3.8.

If it's the same OS.. then i'd see the FAQ database if I were you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes - did all you mentioned, and firmware on both were the same version. I'll check the faq database.

bemasters: did you get the partial restore to work? I'm having the same issue on with my backup - I did a full backup of my pearl, migrated to an 8800, now the backup won't restore my browser bookmarks via the advance partial restore screen because they're greyed out on my 8800!

    help!
