    Hi,

i'm new here! so please be gentle

i own a 8700v, just got it today and i'm very excited!

anyway i was not happy with the internet browser mainly because it is very slow!! so i did some searching in the internet for alternative broswer and i found out about minuet browser.

i install the demo, but cant used it!
it stated that 'page not found' , at first i thought maybe i wasnt in range of the network but then when i use the normal browser, it works perfectly!

any idea how to solve this?

    Thanks!!

Hi nikyas, welcome to pinstack. I have not used the minuet browser, so I cant be of much help. You may have to change some settings, let me have someone else chime in though.

Re: Cannot connect to minuet browser but can connect with normal browser

The device cannot connect because you need to set up your TCP (or APN) settings, which is different depending on your service provider (and country if outside US.) I've talked to RIM about this being a problem for users but there is not much they could/would do about it. Please just email me (suport@triprince.com) if you have problems. I'll be more than glad to help.
