    Canada and Email

I am going to Canada next month, and will want to keep my phone on, but turn all of the other data stuff off on my 8703e (due to Verizon's canadian pricing). Can this be done?

You should be able to ask your carrier to suspend it for awhile. Let them know the situation. That shouldn't be a problem.

From what I know, you need to be on a 3 year term plan with Rogers in order to have a data plan. There is the option of having voice, e-mail and what not as well in the form of the package. More information can be found at the link below. It costs $45 CAD for 0.5 MB of data usage, and the prices just keep getting higher unless you are on a plan of some sort.
