    hello bloggers

    i was using a 8703e model OS 4.1.0
so i tried to upgrade the OS for the same with OS 4.2.1

i used a JL_CMDER to wipe up my handheld

while loading the OS i got an error as (507)

still i some how managed to load the os but in the mean time i cudnt backup my data so

my question is whether we can retrive data when a handheld is in 507 error state if yes how can we do it ?

pls resolve my query if possible

Re: can we retrieve data in 507 error

The JL_Cmder Wipe command erases everything - data AND OS! Unless you have an engineering degree and probably about $100,000 worth of equipment, there's nothing left to retrieve from the device!

Re: can we retrieve data in 507 error

Thank You for ur info on the issue

when does this 507 error shows up i mean if we upgrade os that time or sometime else

i have also seen 507 error in some cases where removing or changing a battery to a device over and over causes this issue

in 1 case i had a pearl handset and the user had switched its battery with a 8703e device it worked for few days but later it stopped working and when the original battery was inserted it showed 507 error directly so in such cases what can be done.
