    Beansy and the BB...

Well after about a month or so of reading, research, yada yada yada, I finally took the plunge with the 8700g. We are slowly warming up to one another but I am already a bit puzzled by one thing. I inputed a series of contacts into the my-tmobile website to download onto my berry, but they are not appearing in my address book after the download is complete. I received the confirmation email and turned the berry off and back on as suggested, but still nothing appears in the address book.

    Anyone ever had this issue?

Other than that I think she is a sexy little biatch!

    Thanks in advance.

What are the chances they have been downloaded to the SIM card rather than the device itself?

Go to your phonebook, click on something, then scroll down on the menu to SIM Phone Book and see if they are there.

N8DBB I thank you very much. The contacts were in my SIM card. Now is there a way to get them into my address book without having to go into the SIM card?

Open your SIM Phonebook...Scroll to the name that you want to load into your address book. Click the trackwheel and choose "Add to PhoneBook".

Yeah this is definitely new to me compared to past devices, but I think half the fun is learning how to use it, specifically how I can manuver around, shortcuts, even without using the scrollwheel as much. Also downloading the helpful apps and really customizing it to my liking.

    Definitely a whole new ballgame.
