I currently have a BB 8700G from T-mobile and I would like to know How I can edit my availablity....to show that I am 'busy' or 'unreachable' etc. I was told that I should have a 'my status' choice when I hit the BB button, but I do not have that option. I still have the 4.1 OS. Please provide some insight on this for me. Thanks.

while in BBM, if you click the trackwheel it doesn't give you an option to change "my status"?
that is very odd...you have to be IN BBM menu.

It only gives me an 'available' option...and when I click....I can only choose available or unavailable....nothing else

ya...well, those are the only two choices...lol

choose unavailable and there should be a place underneath it to type your status

    Re: BB Messenger

Busy and unreachable are status that is based on an attempt to send a message to the recipient. They are not something that can be set.

    Hope this helps.
