    Battery Life on 8700G?

I just got a BB 8700G, and I love it. It is on T-Mobile, and on a BES.

Right now, I have it fully charged when I get up at 7am, and talk on it about 2 hours total a day, and send/receive probably about 40 emails per day, and another 15 or so text messages.

Other than that, I probably have about 15-25 minutes of total web browsing per day.

I also have the BB Messenger running, maybe 10 min. a day of IMing on there.

By about 5pm, the battery is at about 75% or so....

is this about right? Anything I can do (other than modify usage) to help this along? Any good extended batteries?

It sounds like my normal day.
Basically, I charge my 8700g about 3 times a week.
Which I think is fairly normal for any BB user.
Depending on applications that you have on your device, I'd make sure to turn off auto synch option. Applications like Handango inhand and Plusmo offline browser have options whether to synch manually or automatically.
If you must choose auto synch, I'd at least set it to synch not as often as the application default settings suggest.

    Well, I'm using the following:

    Email (BES corporate push)
    Ramble IM
    BB Messenger
Bluetooth is on, I use the headset sometimes

I have Piconews as well, but don't you have to launch that for it to read news?

Turning off Bluetooth when not in use will save battery some also.
