    Application loader problem - 8700g

Hello everybody! I'm a new member of this forum, looking for help.
I've got a problem with the application loader. I've installed desktop manager 4.2.2.14 and I was trying to install "mobipocket reader" but the installation suddenly stops for this reason ""A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again. The following modules are not permitted to be loaded by your administrator: mobireader.cod"
Unfortunately I can't install anything from the internet because I've got to unlock the 8700g before.
By the way, can I pass files from pc to BB without an internet connection? Media Manager doesn't work either
    Thanks.

    P.S. I've got handheld software 4.1 installed, brand O2.

    Hostia, welcome to the stacks.
it appears your BB has an IT policy. hence the warning about admin.
is this a work BB or personal?

if I rememmber correct media manager will not work on OS 4.1 on your BB

Re: Application loader problem - 8700g

My cousin gave me because he bought another one and told me to try to make it work. He used it for his job. I didn't install anything, simply left it as he gave to me.
Probably you are right, it's a IT policy I can read it under "general settings-IT policy name". Is it possible to "delete" it someway?
    Thanks so much anyway, Kayos72

Re: Application loader problem - 8700g

I transferred ebooks files with "mobipocket reader". It allows to do so.
For other kind of files I saw I can use "eFile desktop".
Unfortunately as you said media manager doesn't work. I'm waiting for O2 to release the os 4.2.
Or maybe is there already another os (4.2) which I can install?
