Aluminum Case Problems, can you help?

    Hey Guys!

I have an aluminum case for my Blackberry 8700c, the case is great, but there is one major flaw..... my berry looses 3 bars of service in the case. Is there anyway I can fix that (i.e. take out the extra lining inside) and does anyone else have this problem?

The aluminum is acting as a radio frequency (RF) shield and is reducing the signal strength to and from your Blackberry. If the case was think enough and sealed well enough, you'd actually get no signal at all. Since there's no way to attach an external antenna to a BB, you'll have to either settle for reduced signal strength or find a non-metallic case.

    Good luck.

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. Thanks for the advice. If anyone else wants to give it a shot, please feel free.
