    8707g & Signature Files

I've recently purchased my first BlackBerry, an 8707g connected to O2....I am using this and POP3 to connect to my employer's Exchange email server to download email.

The problem I have relates to incoming mail with 'graphic' signature files which now seem to represent about 40% of the emails I receive.....I can't open these, they seem to be converted to attachments.

Is there an easy answer to this?

Not to my knowledge. All email comes in as Text, not html or rtf. The only way to open is to highlight the attachment, click the wheekl and select "Open Attachment".

    Re: 8707g & Signature Files

Thank you for the responses and warm welcome.

I receive a lot of business related emails from various different sources.....it seems to be the fashion at the moment to use 'flashy' signature files which I just can't open on my BB (even as an attachment).

Probably around 50% of the email I receive have these signature files!

This is a major problem to me and could result in my 8707g being advertised on EBay

If I switched to a Treo would I experience the same problem?
