Question 8703e (Verizon) interal GPS issues

Hey guys, sorry if this is a repost, but I didn't find anything in depth in any other searches.

So I upgraded to 4.2 and everything is lookin good, except for my internal GPS. Everytime I try to start GPS through BBMaps it gives me this error:

    Uncaught Exception.
    net.rim.device.api.i18n.MissingResourceException

I've tried reloading it through DM and deleting it in the Apps menu and reloading it with DM that way. Every time its the same thing, with the same error. Am I being stupid, or do I need to reload my OS, or is my phone broke?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

VW disables its internal GPS functions, i think there is a way to work around it but not sure.

If you don't have a Verizon BB all you have to do is reinstall BBMaps and your GPS will work fine.
If you DO have a Verizon BB there is a work around somewhere on pinstack. Keep looking.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the response. You're right, I called Verizon and they said it was disabled. I have a puck that I have been using, but I got excited when I saw internal GPS for an option with BBMaps. I looked for the work around, but haven't been able to find it. If you or anyone, happens to know where I can find it I would appreciate it. Now if I could just get my bluetooth to connect for activesync, my life would be complete! Thanks again guys
