I'm thinking about going from my 7250 to the 8703. Just wanted know if anybody wants to talk about the keyboards on the two? I have played with the 8703 and it seeems like it will be harder to type on the 8703.

i hate fat hands and love the 8703....qwerty makes up for so much

the 7250 buttons are more "round" the 8700 buttons are sort of oval/soft rectagle

    i like them.

    I have a 7290 and an 8700...

Size wise, the 8700 keys are fine for me, they just take a little getting used to.

Texture wise, they are pretty stiff...I do kind of wish that they had the same physical make up as the 7290 keys, you know, that "softer to the touch" type makeup.

But oh well, the 8800's will be out soon enough, and if the ones that make it to market are like the proto-types, then I will happy.

If you are comfortable on the 7250, then you will adapt very quickly to the 8703. I did.

Just went from 7520 to a 8703e and it is a little harder but something to get use to real fast. Pretty happy with it so far. Go for it

I would think a full qwerty to a full qwerty is easier than a full qwerty to sure type or the other way around.

YMMV. It didn't take me long to switch from a 7290 to an 8700c. Some people have an easier time switching. Some have a harder time.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~thanks for the help guys. My first BB was the 7130 and I hated the keyboard, that is why I now have the 7250. The only other thing I will miss on my 7250 is the screen. On the 7130 it is too hard to see in the sunlight, I know the 8703 will be about the same but the screen does look brighter then the 7130. If the 7250 had louder ring tones I might not switch but the 8703 is only $100 right now with company discount so I think I will go for it.

Sounds like a steal for $100.

Once you get one, and used it for a shortwhile, you will love the keyboard.
