    8700G wont wipe properly

I tried to wipe a blackberry 8700G, it wiped with no problem. However when it is done wiping, I always get the option to enter a password.
When I go to the general settings option, the password and lock out time have a little red clock on their left sides. Is there a way I can take this away? There isn't a option to change, when I click In the track wheel.

    Thank you,
    Mario

My first thought is that you may have a company policy applied? Are you on a BES? If so a wipe won't get rid of all the policy info.

    The blackberry is on BIS.
That was my first thought, when I noticed the problem.

ffmike's right - it's an IT policy installed by (your?) company. If you want to get rid of it it's easy, but when you connect to your b (e) (i) s network it will reestablish if it's your company. My fave list of instructions how to get rid of an IT policy:

    http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Remove_IT_Policy

But don't do it if it'll get you fired - -
