    Question 8700G major issues!!

    hey,
    i have a BB 8700g on T-Mobile network.
    the first problem is that i cant make any calls or recieve em. my device wont go to the EDGE network its stuck on GSM!!! and my intewrnet browser icon is no where to be found!
    is there a way to fix this 'little' problem? can i just reinstall the whole OS (if possible)? please help me!

    for the browser, do you have a BB data plan? if not there will be no browser.

    goo to options, advanced options and then to host routing table. you should have a list of entries. highlight any of the options that aren't in bold and press menu select. it'll re register your handheld to the network, and bring it to say EDGE. That is as long as you have a data plan.

    Other than that do the notorious battery pull

    8700G MMS issues!!

    For the OP, have you had these features before? I'd try a battery pull. If that doesn't work I'd call your provider about your issue.

    You should still have edge (lowercase).
    Sounds like SIM issue, maybe its either become partially corrupted, or been de-provisioned for data by your service provider.
    Try a different SIM and see if you get past GSM.

    Try sending an mms to yourself. That reregisters you to the network and you should be up and running again
