    first of all hi everybody!.

now the problem. i got a 8700g yesterday and added it a 3rd party program and the device got the white screen with the sand watch turning and the red led on. when this happened i reinstalled the OS and erything went well. one hour later this happened again and i cant seem to solve it by doing the same thing.

if anyone could help me i would appreciate it.

Hello Murdock and Welcome to the Stacks. Do you get an error message when this happends or just the hourglass of doom? What 3rd party program did you add?

http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com..._step_fix.html. Here it is my friend. Unfortunately, you'll have to follow this fix. It does take a little bit of time, but should get you back and running soon. Make sure you follow the steps as outlined and ask any questions you may have.

i've done exactly what it said at the post, but after the OS installation is complete, the same red light appears for about 5 secs and then appears the hourglass of doom.

please tell me what to do from this point. thankss!
