    8700g Background

On this pic that I found in a post I was just looking at, I noticed that the 8700g here in the pic had no icons on the screen. Is there a option in the blackberry to hide the icons or is that a special mod that has to be done. Those icons really take away the background especially if you put a nice pic you like. Please someone or anyone feel free to leave any suggestions or fixes for my headache. Thanks Guys

    louee6, Welcome to PinStack,

There are other theme available that allow a lot more of your image to show. Some theme in the links in the Themes and Images Forum have only the currently selected App Icon (focus) visisble.

Check out the srl7714's themes looking for those noted as having invisible icons.

    Re: 8700g Background

Look at the thread called Zen theme and 8700.

I have struggled and finally succeeded with the instructions and its well worth it.

    Some advice from a dweeb.

    Follow EXACTLY the instructions in

"Instructions for installing Vodafone, O2, Orange & Zen Themes (8700 only)"

    give yourself plenty of time

make sure you have Desktop software 4.2
    back up your device
    delete your existing OS

    follow the instructions above.

GOOD LUCK AND WELCOME TO THE ELITE

If it isn't working as planned, just ask!

For a couple of Icon Based themes with lots of image showing, here are three examples.
