This is great, it's like I have a new device all over again! The 8700c looks good in its 8707v housing I might add....very dashing...
if I get time I might post pics. I was alos thinking of getting an 8703 case and seeing how that looks as well, who knows?

So how many of you have changed out your original housing and what did you change it to?

Great stuff! I've swaped my 8700g with 8700g from black to blue. I've seen 8707v swaps and yes I much prefer the keypad.

good to hear hayden! do you prefer the blue over the black housing? you should try the 8707v housing (but to me I think everyone should ). I like the 8700g housings as well...actually i think i like all of the housings just because they come from blackberrys.
wouldn't mind getting all of them and changing when I wanted too.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you obtain the 8707V Housing ? Will it fit on a 8700G ? It looks really sharp and would be the perfect solution for me, as I like the 8300 and 8800, but I don't wan't to give up my click wheel, I've used the 8800 and I can't get used to it. So I would get the 8707V housing and upgrade to 4.2...

Hi, may I ask where you got your housing? I'm really interested. I just don't want to make a mistake in buying a housing that won't fit well. Email me please, choi4096_2003@yahoo.com

you can obtain one from ebay....i just happened to luck out and find a nice guy on the forums that was selling it because he didn't have the proper keypad for it...but like i said i know you can get on from ebay...i believe it will fit an 8700g but you have to use a different keypad like one from an 8700c.
